We moved permanently to FLEETWOOD a coastal town on the northwest coast of England. It was once a famous fishing port and holiday town. We had a holiday home there for 3 years then decided to give up our jobs and move there permanently and find work reading ourselves for our retirement. We sold our home and moved there to our apartment in 2004. We have a comunal garden in the grounds but love to spend our time walking on the beach hence we call the beach "OUR BACK GARDEN" It is an ever changing canvass for taking pictures and a great source for drift wood and sea glass and shells. We try to walk there as often as possible daily if we can. From FLEETWOOD you can get on to the beach and walk as far as LYTHAM. Passing through rossall-cleveleys - anchorseholme - bispham -north shore blackpool to the south shore blackpool-st. Annes - on sea finishing at lytham st. ANNES a total of 15 miles of sea and sand. This is known as part of the lancashire coastal walk. A walk we have done several times albiet in stages. We can get a bus or tram to any point we choose then go on the beach/seashore for a pleasant walk. Here are some of the panoramic shots from o"our "WALKS IN OUR BACK GARDEN"
