Purdue Alumnus Magazine, sent me on an assignment to photograph high school history teacher Tom Clark. My assistant and I ventured to Northwest Indiana to meet with and document Tom Clark. I was amazed to watch Mr. Clark teach U.S. History and motivate his students. Mr. Clark had given each student a veteran to research. It was great to see a class of young adults very involved in learning about history, especially veterans, as well as giving their opinions about topics at hand. See more photos and read the article in Purdue Alumnus Magazine (Soldier Stories, published in the May/June 2013 Issue).
I also found that the Wall Street Journal did an article on Tom as well it can be seen here Soldiers Lost and Found: Students Rediscover the Fallen, published October 19, 2012.
