Namganjeongsa

Namganjeongsa (Story Essay)

"Namganjeongsa" is located on a small hill and was the place where the famous scholar Uam Song Si-yeol (1607-1689) educated and brought up his academic followers. This set of buildings is from the later part of the Joseon Dynasty and is known for its unique landscape design. Water from a mountain stream runs down into the valley and passes under the floor of the main hall of the building into a pond in the front yard.

What I liked most, was how the landscape transformed with the changing of the seasons.
