They're fabulous, they're japanese, they're VOCALOIDS.

Vocaloid is a singing voice synthesizer developed by Yamaha and Crypton Future Media. The characters have a voicebank and a boxart.
Miku Hatsune is one of that creations and reaches the japanese 'virtual idol' title for her appearance and her music, spread worldwide with official productions and fan-made songs, videos and drawings shared on YouTube, Tumblr and more websites.
Her, and other popular Vocaloids have their own music albums, collectible figures and other goods. Some people want more. Representing them is their goal, and Cosplay is the way.
Cosplay, short for "costume play" is an art and a hobby all about representing a character in both their physical appearance and their behavior at anime conventions and similar events to show appreciation for it and allow other fans watch a 'real' version of their beloved heroes and idols.
In Colombia, despite not speaking Japanese, many people enjoy the songs of Vocaloids and some have been inspired by them for their cosplays.
All I've done is capturing with my lens the passion in their tribute.
