Floral Intimacy

I wish I knew their names by heart

For they all have meanings

Their beauty renders me paralyzed

Each time I pass by them!

Rarely do I smell but look

So delicate. So soft and fragile

Open and vulnerable.

Each petal, gazing upon the sun!

Then just as soon after I leave

No more will I see on earth

This intimate existence

Never to be repeated or seen!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder?

It is rather the beauty of the Creator

That makes one stop and gaze in awe...!
