The Mighty Mississippi River

The shots are of the great Mississippi river. Along her banks is a little town called Grafton, you can take a ferry over to an island that is so secluded the only way on or off this island is the ferry. The shot off this island is seen off the bow of the ferry, this was taken as the flood waters was subsiding.

In the next shot you can see the light house that is used to help guide the barges. In addition there wood carving shops like the wooden eagle.

Grafton has a historical site there are caves, that once a tribe of American Indianans once stayed the tribes name is Piasa, there a drawing on the cave of their bird the Piasa bird, the stone arrow head was put in place back in 1985 on it tells the story of the Anerican Indans.
