Between the windshield Wipers

Driveby~ Walking in the rain

We had snow that later turned into rain the last day of November. As we were driving through River Falls, Wisconsin, a college town, I couldn't help but notice the students with colorful backpacks either crossing the wet streets or in one of my grab shots two young ladies standing on a street corner waiting for the signal lights to turn. It was a brisk cold day, but the pedestrians bravely endured the weather.

I also included some bikers in the rain In October headed to the same town and ladies walking through the rain holding umbrellas, while timing these shots between the windshield wipers. I took it upon myself to shoot rainy day drivebys on the passengers side of the car while my husband drove. I wish I could say all my efforts turned out . Sometimes the wipers removed what could have been a picture and got in the way, but I am happy for the few that worked. It was extremely challenging but I also had fun!
