Yes i got a Lensbaby

And yes i absolutely suck at it!!! I know that im only supposed to upload my "best" photos on here and these are certainly not my best work so i apologize in advance for wasting your time with the photos. Knowing that this was not my best work i was really leery of posting any of them on the web as any artist likes to know and be told that his work is good. Despite my misgivings though i decided to overcome the fear of crappy reviews and post them up, i suppose it was to show that all of us, even the ones that have been shooting for a long time, have much to learn and have to start somewhere. Getting this lens has been the most fun and simultaneously the most frustrating experience thus far, it has also been an example of my ego getting in the way as well. Having seen many images taken with Lensbabies and seeing people using them i figured that it didnt look that difficult.......now having one of my own i realize just how wrong i was. It has ben a humbling experience to say the least and one that has stretched me quite a bit as i have to really think about the process before i take the picture. A frustrating experience it has been but at the same time i am grateful for the challenge and the knowledge that i am not as good as i thought i was. To all of you who own one of these things and can do it well i have a new found respect for you......maybe you can give me some pointers. Aside from the negative aspects of my experience thus far there are far more positives. For one im shooting a lot more as i am taking it everywhere, despite my lack of talent with it i am having a blast, it forcing me to see things i a whole new way.....and the list could go on and on. At any rate it is something that i am looking forward to mastering in near future ( i hope ) until that day comes though i will be out there practicing my little heart out as that is all that i can do. Please feel free to critique the photos, give me some feed back, point out strengths and weaknesses anything you can offer is welcome positive or negative.......its the only way we grow.
Oh and just so you know, the last 2 images on here are of course not taken with the lensbaby. I didnt want to feel like the afternoon was a total waste so i took some shots with my normal lenses.

I really want to get a lensbaby and your honest account has encouraged me as when I take terrible pictures (which I have to add, yours are not!!) then I can take heart that others have also struggled! Thank you for your story!
