Natural Emotion

I could write a story about all of my photographs, but in my eyes a photograph is able to explain its self. It expresses emotion, perspective and allows you to stop time in a 5x7. Like abstract art, the viewer is able to create their own story. I'd rather my viewers use their imagination than me spoiling it for them. If more people thought for themselves, maybe the world would be a different place. Art enables us to illuminate our minds and discover areas of our imagination we never knew existed. Imagination gives hope to the million kids who aren't able to go home to a warm dinner, a warm bed, familiar smiles. It allows us to express our feelings through a lens, ink, paint or pencil. Art is a universal language, our own self discovery.
Although I am only 15 years old, I have many goals and ambitions in life. I'm in no rush to grow up, but patiently awaiting what comes next. I collect cameras, and have enough to use a different one for 2 weeks and 3 days straight. I've been interested in digital photography for about 3 years now, and have recently learned the art of film photography. I've learned to develop my own negatives as well as make my own prints in the dark room. Although film was a step back for me with the technology of digital that we have today, I still enjoy exploring the different areas of this art. Besides digital/film photography, I also hold an interest for drawing portraits, thanks to my dad. My Dad is my favorite artist and one of the most influential people in my life. If it weren't for him I don't think that I'd find myself as interested in art as I am today. In that case, I thank him for my talents.
