A Study in Minimalism

Something has always attracted me to minimalism. Not just in photography either--art, design, writing, and living usually seem better when simplified.
I like the force that sparseness can have. It brings focus. Maybe it's the complexity and clutter of the modern world that attracts me to minimalism. Something inside of me saying, "Hey there. I need a little room to breathe."
Images in minimalism are a sort of visual medicine that counterbalances some of the nauseating effects of modern life. Personally, when I stare at simple images like these I feel more peaceful... like I'm finally home. It's like a kind of meditation. They relieve some of the tension that has built up throughout the day, and that's certainly a good thing in my book.
