Walking the New York walk, talking the New York Talk

Walking through the streets armed with a camera, a set of lenses, a good mood and a well trained eye is all I need to have a great day when I am in New York. As you have read in my other photo essays I have a real soft spot for an otherwise hard city. I always say if you have not been in New York you have not lived, it is a city you have to visit at least once in a life time...even more then Paris ( I don't see what all the fuss is about, Parisians are rude (mostly) they think their city is the best (oh..mm New Yorkers do too) and apart from the museums and architecture I just can't get used to the French's Chauvinist attitude. New Yorkers are as is, they can be full of it and especially outside the Manhattan island they can get pretty rough as well but it's all real and I appreciate that. No polishing or pretending.
Timeless, symbiotic and the same time parasitic, old and new architecture that is near schizo but does fit nicely together though. Don't have to tell you I love the city....
