Artist Statement Rev 1

People say that writing a good artist statement is important in preparation of exhibiting work. I decided to get the process started and may be I can use the development process to refine my photography style.
My work can be divided in two main subject matters; Memories and The human expression.
Memories:
This work has its roots in the desire to capture the essence of a memory as the memory is being created. To achieve this I concentrate in the image composition and color pallet.
I try to achieve a composition that tells a story that will help the imagination of the viewer fill in the blanks and trigger a recall of related memories. My color palate is based on the primary colors with an inclination to warm colors.
The Human Expression:
This work is rooted in a desire of capturing and expressing the beauty of the human body with an emphasis in the female form.
