Nature's Design
By Pamela Hubbard

Last summer I found myself in my new flower garden. I wanted everything perfect. I was going to take some photos to send to mom.....
"Not another weed?"
That was the beginning of my obsession with finding beauty in what I would normally yank out of the ground and consider to be an unwanted. I look through the viewfinder and now see nature's design. It fills my lens with light, color and dimension. The geometry is perfect. Sometimes natures smiles at me and asks to come home with me. Sometimes I feel that nature is watching me and sometimes, in my amazement, it mimics a memorable experience. Can you see it?
I look in every direction, careful not to miss what nature has to offer, constantly evaluating all that meets my photographer's eye. I find satisfaction turning what would go unnoticed into a piece of art. It leaves me with a wonderful feeing.
