Photographers Worst Nightmare

Anticipating a perfect day to shoot what is left of any snow on the ground at the Wachusett Reservoir I swung camera bag to shoulder and knew in an instant before I even heard the loud thud what I had forgotten to do. Zip the bag. Glass shattered and falling out of the lens I did what any photographer would do. I took a picture and captured in that moment my sons concern.
