lost in the device

So.
I 've been dabbling with TTV for about a year now. I discovered the trick here on JPG and toyed with it from time to time. Too complicated with my big fat lens and having to build a box for it... too much effort for shits and giggles.
A couple of weeks ago I got my girlfriend a little point and shoot. Keeping tradition alive I opted for a Pentax as I trained myself on a K1000. This little bugger, once manipulated to the most manual of settings it offers, is pretty nifty. It's macro settings are what peaked my interest. I can get it much closer to the view finder of my myriad of collectible cameras than with my Rebel XT.
So... I've kinda gone a little haywire with it. My girlfriend is often amused by the contorted situations I've been setting up and 'you're nuts, I love you' is often uttered with a mild shaking of her head.
Now... I'm off to do something a little more productive than taking pictures of myself.

Pentax K1000 (ttv)
