Photo Essay

Leaves

Santa Barbara Mission

When I started my photographic career 35 years ago, I was drawn to photograph and capture the essence of the leaf.

This series of photographs was taken within the last year.

For me leaves are an unlimited study, because of their remarkable abundance yet very unique characteristics.

I'm intrigued because leaves are always in transformation of changing color and texture.

Whether looking up or down, chances are you have one within your sight.

Enjoy!
