So, I read about this site in a forum and thought I'd check it out. I really like it. My experience in photography forums has been pretty negative, mostly people are mean and pretentious (as it is with forums in any craft, I guess). I'm hoping that doesn't happen here.
I thought I'd say a little something about my own photography by way of hello. I got my first camera for grading grade 4. That's what I asked for and I've been taking random pictures since. I don't have any fancy equipment, at least not yet, so I have to make do with p&s.
Right now I have a Sony DSC-T200 that I carry around all the time. I also have a Canon Powershot S2-IS that I take out from time to time. A DSLR has been on my wishlist for some time.
Recently I discovered TtV and found an old Brownie Hawkeye in the toolshed. I've been experimenting with that and I have a Kodak Duaflex on the way. I also have a Holga on the way.
Photography is just something I do for fun and it's something I enjoy quite a bit. I've wanted my own dark room since I was about 12.
