Recreational Kubricks

Stanley Kubrick is certainly one of the most influential and recognizable filmmakers of the the 20th Century. His films include a wide range of genres and their themes transcend all dimensions of the human experience. As an audience, we cannot help but place ourselves within his films, emotionally involved with the plot and either sympathizing with the characters or downright hating them.
For this project, I asked my family and friends to pose in photographs based off of some famous or not-so-famous Kubrick imagery. Some of them attempt to be direct recreations while others try to put a slight spin on the original image. Basically, though, this is a visual representation of what the movie-watching experience allows us to do: place ourselves within the mindset of the characters, good or bad.
