text text everywhere

I am sure it passes us by by the second, meanwhile most of it is meant for us to buy not to pass it by. Ads, brands, rules, news, warnings, pr, directions, all of this text is flashed before us on a daily basis. It would be interesting if we found out that subminally we record ever last bit of it in our brains. Just think of how many license plates pass your eyes daily but if you had to do the recall on a hit and run you probably wouldn't be able to remember the combination of letters and numbers unless it was a vanity plate.
