School Side Fashion

I joined the the school's publication team for one thing: The Yearbook's Fashion Page. Everyone whose been in high school has seen that page, but have passed it without any amazement. I decided to step it up a notch before leaving high school, to make a more refined and eye appealing fashion spread that expressed our generation's sense of style. I've never really participated much in school events or received numerous excellent awards. This would be my mark on the school. Picking out the various students from different grade levels of high school; bringing the crew of trend setters that walk amongst the campus. From those who shop from affordable to unthinkable prices and to those who pair with the utmost care and precision. These students represent some of the many different styles that many catch eye towards or admire. With different personalities, friends and families, my photos for the fashion section reveal a common line; their sense of individual style that keeps them who they are.
If I can't be a world-wide famous photographer at 18, then I'll make the best damn fashion page anyone has seen in my high school. I think everyone has a sense of style whether some people agree or not. From middle school's awkward years to being voted "Best Dressed" in high school, one's sense of fashion can develop over time or even over night. These photos mean a lot to me as they represent my hard work for the yearbook. It was picked, composed and shot by me, which makes any final product to be proud of. It feels good to step back and say that was mine and have it bring a deep breath and a smile when others like it just as much as I do. It will be a lasting stamp for years to come.
