Prom Date

Prom, what a wonderful time in a teenagers life. They spend weeks searching for just the right outfit. Hours on hair, makeup and nails and then head out, parental cameras clicking trying to capture this moment. Their sons and daughters dressed in pubescent ceremonial garb on their way to dance the night away.
There is much work that goes into this eventful night. Buying the dress, renting the tux that matches the dress, renting the limo, buying the flowers, making dinner reservations, stressing over the acne breakout and how to cover it up.....(deep breath).....meeting the parents. contending with the barrage of questions and hour of photographing. And just when they think the stress is over, there's dinner. What to eat, how will I look eating it, will it be messy, is there anything in my teeth......is that a........(click)......parent here for more pictures? Could this be any more mortifying? Of course it's not over, there's the dance. King and Queen of prom are announced, does anyone else have the same dress, will I be left to stand like a wallflower, alone, all night.
