After this initial announcement, I've learned of JPGers children being air-ported to Riley's or stories from JPGers that are health practitioners. A common thread, aside from a passion for photography, is your message that this initiative would make a difference to a staff member, a patient, or a visiting family member.
My brother was in Riley's Hospital for Children over a Christmas season having a heart valve replacement. If I were able to see JPGers gorgeous photographs gracing the walls during times like this, it would put a smile on my face & break the monotony a hospital can bring.
When someone's eyes for weeks are focused on a loved one's closed eyes, the rise & fall of their chest, closely watching a heart monitor, or listening for the doctor's steps coming down the hallway peaceful photos make a difference.
Submissions are simple. Just click on this link: http://photosforhealth.com
Thank you all for your time, talent and messages regarding this endeavor and your enthusiastic participation.
