Irreplaceable Portraiture (courtesy of Mr. Land)

Someone once asked me to hang my wall-of-polaroids in a gallery exhibit. The gallery's policy stated that all work must be for sale.
I declined with a shudder at the thought of the slim possibility of selling my one-of-kind, irreplaceable polaroids.
Why do I love this medium so? Is it the aesthetic? The way it renders colors? The instant gratification? Sure, yes. But the reason I love it most, is that it creates a truly original, not-to-be-duplicated photograph.
And thus making it priceless.
