For Carl W. Nunn

Barry Adamson. Bassist for seminal british punk band Magazine in the late 70s, early 80s. Bassist and co-founding member of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds after that. Almost ten years now as a solo artist. Composer. Producer. Performer. Super sexy stlyin' man. My wife moved to the back of the room. Pheromones knocked her around. "You die, he's mine," she said.
Barry just turned 50. Turned from film composer creating dark, luscious scores for imaginary neo-noir films to dripping-honey-on-a-hot-day groove master. Then jazz crept in. The rest is history. Google him.
Barry Adamson. The Factory Theatre in Enmore, Sydney. Rainy Friday night, 20 June at 10pm. Badaaass sweet.
