Vans Warped Tour 2008

"I Want To See A Tornado"

Crowd surfing, piles ups, throwing down, two stepping, all in the heat of the day. From as early as 5 in the morning, people of all ages line up at the gates of Bicentennial Park in Miami, Fl to be the first ones to gain entry into the Vans Warped Tour, an all day festival concert that starts at 11AM and lasts until 9PM, showcasing bands of many genres from hip-hop, to pop-punk, to heavy metal. Crowds of thousands line up for nearly a quarter of a mile, just to get in on some of the fun.

They storm through the gates, spreading in all directions like a plague, all excited to see their favorite bands, up close and personal in a live show. A big blow up time schedule is placed right in the center of the park, showing which bands play at which time on which stage, and that's the first place the majority of the fans go straight to, to see when and where the bands on their "Warped List" are playing, then jotting it down on a sheet of paper or in their cell phones, they set off for a day full of hanging out, music, fun, and heat exhaustion (If you don't take the extra precautions to hydrate yourself).

Everytime I Die, Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong, Cobra Starship, Norma Jean, Say Anything, Katy Perry, The Devil Wears Prada, Angels and Airwaves and many others are some of the bands of the bands showing up at this year's Warped Tour.

The pictures included are of Everytime i Die, Farewell, Norma Jean, Set Your Goals and Four Year Strong, a few of my favorite bands on this year's list.
