What city do you live in? What neighborhood?
I live on Clearwater Beach at the north end.
What are some adjectives that describe your neighborhood?
quiet, relaxing, fun, hippy, beach-bum, friendly, beautiful, friendly,
How long have you lived there, and what brought you there?
I have lived here for 8 months. I came here after a 6 month trip around SE Asia and after living in France for 3 years. France was wonderful but as I don't tend to stay in one place very long it was time to change.
What is your favorite thing about this place? Your least favorite?
I live three blocks from the beach that was voted best beach in America 2008. What more can I say? It doesn't get any better than that.
Do you feel that you belong there?
Yes, I have finally found somewhere that I would like to live for the rest of my life. ( I think!)
What is the most common misconception about where you live?
That you have to be wealthy to live on the beach.
What is a special fact about your city that you have to live there to know?
The best spots to go on the beach to avoid the crowds.
What aspect of your city do you secretly love?
The gaudy and crowded shops selling souvenirs and cheap t shirts.
Anything else you'd like to add?
Every time I drive home over the bridge from the mainland I can't believe my luck in living here.
