Photo Manipulation
By Oregon Curly

The photos posted on this page are virtually straight from the camera. I'll admit to a bit of cropping once in awhile, as well as a rarely done bit of lightening. That is it, well...ok, the b/w shots were first color shots, but once the conversion to b/w was done, no other manipulation. I like to see what I can do with the camera, and what the camera is capable of doing. Taking a bland photo and 'photoshopping' it into something beautiful is just not my style. Drawbacks - yes, nothing hits the 'hot' list. But then again, that is not my object; using the tool (camera) to its fullest extent and not having to do a lot of fixing afterwards is my goal. More power to those that can take an 'ordinary' shot and PS it into 'extraordinary', I enjoy their work too. And a lot of my shots end up in the waste pixel pile on the floor. But I'm having fun and learning more with each shot. And I'm lazy.
