Los Uros in Colours

Los Uros began their unusual floating existence in the Titicaca Lake centuries ago to protect them selves from the Collas and the Incas. During the years the existence of pure-blooded Uros has vanished.
The Aymaras that have settled there today construct, like the original Uros, their islands and canoe-shaped boats for fishing and transport with totora reeds.
