Inspiration

I'm continually amazed and awed by the many beautiful photos I've seen on this site. Photos of things big and small, near and far, from all points on the globe. Photos taken by some very talented photographers. These photos have served to inspire me (when I'm not overwhelmed with my day job).
In looking at all these wonderful images, it makes me feel particularly fortunate to live in a very beautiful place and to not have to travel far to see landscapes and scenery that can be simply breathtaking. Indeed, often I find inspiration just outside my front door.
These photos were taken just outside my front door, on the porch or on the street just in front of our house. I never get tired of this continually unfolding show. The body of water down the road is Cook Inlet at the mouth of Turnagain Arm.
