541 Feet Above the Ground: Inside the World's Tallest Ferris Wheel

The Singapore Flyer is a giant Ferris wheel in Singapore. The final capsule was installed on 2 October 2007, the wheel started rotating on February 11, 2008 and it officially opened to the public on March 1, 2008.
Reaching 42 stories high, the Flyer comprises a 150 m (492 ft) diameter wheel, built over a three-story terminal building, giving it a total height of 165 m (541 ft), making it the world's tallest Ferris wheel.
Located on the southeast tip of the Marina Centre reclaimed land, it offers broad views of the city centre and beyond to about 45 km (28 mi), including the Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan, as well as Johor, Malaysia.
Note: These pictures were shot on my first ride on the Flyer. I used a Lomo Fisheye 2 because I wanted to capture a 'birdseye' view of the city with a 'fisheye' lens. The rain just happened by chance.
