Dancescape

I was cast away for a month in the remote island of Pamilakan to help the community promote ECO tourism. Bringing along with me is my canon eos 400D kit and my 70 to 300mm lens. In so doing, I had the opportunity to take pictures and upload to JPG beautiful boats, kids playing in the beach, people dancing in the street, landscape and seascape.
After a month away from dance and theater I realize how much I missed dance, the aura of theater, the shapes of dancers in performance.
Taking pictures of trained dancers on stage is a great privilege to capture the artists path towards creation of shapes, lines, tones. textures, and dynamics. And then the urge to share and upload them to JPG comes as if years gone by...
as I gather my collections of dance pictures, I knew I am looking at artists on stage... Not in a landscape or seascape but a Dancescape.
