The death of the good samaritan

the death of the good samaritan

The pictures in this album are truly poignant. they are the kind of images that are burned in our brains when people force us to look, or the images we realize exist the few times we stop to really evaluate life. The name of this particular picture I think is truly ingenious...I can imagine those unfortunate enough to be actors in such a scene; sitting and thinking about how all the good Samaritans are gone, they quietly curse under their breath. In the end, these pictures don't force us to see the rather ubiquitous invisible men and women on the streets, instead they force us to come to terms with the idea of homelessness, and hence somehow, we begin to understand how to see the world from the other side of the window. written essay by edesiri onoge
