Scene I
Dancers performance are constant whether it is in studio or on stage. It has full of energy and emotion, we can almost feel their being.
Dancers transcend movement into a creative event, where in dark and lights intertwined with them as they create shapes, lines and rhythm.
Scene II
As the dancers showcase their creativity, their rythmic patterns and structures gives me the opportunity to control and compose my photos and fill my memories with AH-HA! of creativity. Just like the dancers fleeting moment, the illumination AH-HA stages usually brief but full of satisfaction. Capturing them in my camera is not to preserve that fleeting moment but to catch the soul of dancers in performance...
Curtain call...
As dancers creates and bathed with lights in performance. my heart beats along with them faster than my shutter speed...
i know the feeling.... because i am a dancer.
