2008 Michigan Open Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tourney

This was the tournaments third year. Held in Walled lake Michigan, the tournament drew competitors from all over the state. They were broken up by belt, each with a complete set of weight divisions. Scoring goes like this:
2 points - Takedown
2 points - Knee on stomach
2 points - Side Mount reversal
3 points - Passing the full guard
4 points - Mount
4 points - Back Mount with hooks
Victory by either submission or points.
