What city do you live in? What neighborhood?
I live in Frisco, TX. I also work here, at Frisco Square, located in downtown Frisco off of Main Street, and across from Pizza Hut Park Stadium.
What are some adjectives that describe your neighborhood?
Northern Suburb of Dallas, TX. Urban, Growing, Updated but traditional.
How long have you lived there, and what brought you there?
I moved to Frisco, just this past spring (March 08), but have worked here since February 06, and have lived in the Northern Dallas area since 2001.
What is your favorite thing about this place? Your least favorite?
Frisco is a retail explosion of shopping and restaurants. Always something new to try, and somewhere new to go!
Do you feel that you belong there?
Definately! It is a great community.
What is the most common misconception about where you live?
Just Texas in general, people think there are cowboys everywhere. Think they envision it's still like the wild wild west?? Dallas and it's closer suburbs, have a great urban flair and taste to them. I rarely see a cowboy hat ;)
What is a special fact about your city that you have to live there to know?
Frisco was named after the SL & SF Frisco Railroad.
What aspect of your city do you secretly love?
I enjoy being part of such a rapidly growing and expanding community, that is still proud of it's heritage.
