Kyle - only two years old - but so full of joy and energy that you can't but help being pulled into his world! Kyle is the son of my husband's nephew and his wife. Just to see his mass of strawberry curls puts a smile on your face and I know one day, the curls will be gone, but for now we will enjoy them.
My husband's family is such a melting pot of ethnicity, and Kyle is a perfect blend of so many cultures, as is my daughter. We can only hope that the future for them will be one where their race or beliefs aren't what they are judged on, but by their true character. Our family has learned to look beyond a person's colour and instead look at their hearts and inner beauty.
"What a wonderful world it would be" if we could all have the wisdom of children. Here's hoping you all have a little ray of sunshine somewhere in your life filling you with hope.
