Life is FUN with my SON !!!

Let me see... :)

I don't deny that I was a bubbly, naughty , talkative and funny girl ( still I am ! :p LOL) during my school & college days... I had to face the complaints of my teachers for my small small "mischievous" activities. So "listening the complaints of the class teacher" or other teachers is not new for me and this tradition is kept alive by my son too. ( Like mom, like son...LOL ) I still remember when my son was in Senior K.G. and as he is a hyper-active child, very talkative, naughty and an over curious child ... He can never be a quiet boy either at home or at his school...! He loves to play every time... Hey but he is an excellent boy ( here too like mom ;) :p ) in studies too so he can score between 85 to 95% marks in exams despite all mischievous things he does..!

When my son was around 3 to 5 years age group, he did all funny & mostly weird things he used to take tooth paste on his brush and then used to fill little water in that tooth-paste tube and used to put the cap on it..So next time who-so-ever will press that paste on brush used to get water first...or more semi-liquid paste!!! LOL Here we have an ointment (multipurpose) called "Amrutanjan"- for body pain relief, headache & cold etc... It generally has little burning sensation when we apply it on head or nose etc... it's white in color... So one day my son ( must be 2 & half years old at that time ), took that balm and mixed it with cold-cream... Those were the winter days and hubby had to go out early in the morning and he applied that cold cream on his face in hurry ...! No need to say what had happened further...LOL

One day I was in the office and got late due to some work-load... My dad called me and told me that our T.V. Remote is not working...How? I asked ...It was working in the morning properly... I asked my dad did my son break it? He said no...But he was watching TV alone for sometime... I understood, this must be "his" job again ! I went home and asked my son in little raised voice... he got scared and told me, that he "washed" that TV remote with soap and water ... Oops, but why? I asked, he said you promise me that you will not get angry...I said ok, tell me...he said he "by mistake" ( his pet words since he learned to say this..! ) dropped the bottle of baby moisturizer on TV remote and thought that I will find it easily while watching the TV in the night so he immediately washed that T.V. remote with soap and water.. Hahaha.

He has one more habit of asking the question "WHY?" after almost each sentence of mine...This is our conversation when he was 2+ years old.... He :-- Why do we have holes in the nose? Me :-- For breathing...He :-- Why do we need to breath? Me : To live... He :-- Why do we need to live?........ I was speechless....!!! Hahahaha

You convey a very good picture of your son, even without the photo.. I can imagine the young boy just from reading your story! I have a 4 year old grandson, (turned 4 in November) and his question to everything was "why".. he doesnt say it much now and I miss it, now his favorite prhase is "awesome dude" or check it out dude.. Enjoy this wonderful, inquisitve and charasmatic son of yours! :) Love it!

This is an excellent, wonderfully told story Nasera! I too have an only son so I can really relate to the mischievousness they get into! Your portraits are great also. How did you get him to sit still for these?!? My Yeah of course!!!

Nasera, your son's curiosity may simply be an indication of the genius lurking within! As for the TV remote... well-- let's just say he appreciates cleanliness and let it go at that :~) Good essay and neat pictures! My vote!
