The one I love. . .

Thinking about the people we love, the first person who comes to mind is my boyfriend. I love my friends, I love my family, but there is no comparable love, like what I have for him. His name is Kyle and this is our story...
I work at a gas station and one night, this attractive guy came in. The initial attraction soon wore off when he came in not knowing what pump he is on, so I gave him some sass. Soon after, he became a regular , always coming in with his gambling roommate, and getting himself coffee and/or Gatorade. We made small talk, usually about music and tattoos, he even made me a Jaguar Love cd. Since it was spring, early summer he wore aviator sunglasses constantly and since I didn't know his name at the time, when he'd leave I'd shout out "Aviators was just in here!!".
Little did I know he also had a silly crush on me. Months before our first hangout, he made a list of things to do. "Get groceries, buy dog food, clean house, ask girl out at gas station". I did everything to get his attention, even offered to take his dog, Zion, to the park!! Finally, since he made no moves, I saw his roommate and asked him to give my number to Kyle. A few weeks go by and at 2am I get a text asking to hang out early that day. He takes me to Savers where I buy a Polaroid camera. We eat pizza, the date is done.
Next day, we hang out on and sitting on his passenger seat is a pack of polaroid film....way to my heart! Since he treated me to expensive Chinese food, I offered to pay for our admission into the zoo the next day so he can see the polar bears. The night before we go, I get the best text message I have ever gotten... "Will you take a picture of me at the zoo. A polarbearoid?" Only six days later, we are an official couple.
I wouldn't call it love at first sight....but it was something.
(The main picture is from one of our very first hangouts, and was instantly his myspace picture. Go figure!)
