Photo Challenge: Street Performers
Due to the amazing photos in our On Stage theme (which is
featured in Issue 18), we created a new photo challenge zeroing in
on street performers, and the wide variety of talents they display.
Show us any kind of performance--human statues, break dancing,
busking--just make sure the venue of choice is the street.
This photo challenge was sponsored by the New York Institute of Photography, the world’s oldest and largest photography school. Established in 1910, NYI has grown to become the premier provider of distance learning in photography, educating thousands of students in the US and 50+ countries at any given time. Their courses in Professional Photography, Digital Photography: Photoshop for Photographers, and the NYI Short Course: Fundamentals of Digital Photography combine the convenience of at-home study with state-of-the-art training. All students receive personal evaluations of their work from NYI's staff of professional photographers.
This photo challenge was open for one week. Visit the Street Performers downloads page to see the selections from this photo challenge.
