Photo Challenge: Creative Portraiture
Sponsored by Lensbaby
When
taking a portrait, a photographer's goal is to have the image reflect who that
person is. So what you decide to blur or keep in focus, along with what you opt
to leave in or crop out of the frame, should ultimately reflect the person
you're photographing.
For this photo challenge, we teamed up with Lensbaby, who is offering three lucky winners a prize from
its vast product line that will help you get more creative with your
photography! These products are fantastic to have on hand because they
allow you to both creatively frame your subject and selectively blur away
details that might otherwise detract from what the photo has to say.
The grand prize winner of this challenge receives Lensbaby's new Scout lens
- its first lens that doesn't bend - which allows photographers easy control
over the extremely wide angle of view that the lens' 12mm fisheye optic
provides. Two other winners will receive $50 to spend at lensbaby.com on products of their choice!
So enter a portrait where you did something creative that let the true nature
of your subject shine through!
