Calling All Writers

Did you know that, in addition to submitting your photos for possible inclusion in JPG Magazine, you can also submit your words? We're currently seeking story submissions for Issue 7 on the following topics.
Interview. Know a photographer who's doing incredible work? Ask them how they do it, what they think, and how it feels. Then write it all down and send it in.
How To. More about inspiration than technique, JPG How To's aim to give photographers fun things to try with their camera. For example: how to shoot a party, how to break your photographer's block, how to take vacation photos that don't suck.
Post-Processing. Fun ideas for things to do with your photos once you've taken them. For example: Interesting display ideas, stuff that can feature your photos, interactive photo sharing projects.
My Precious. Our version of product reviews. Tell us about a product you use and love, or the ones you wish you could afford, and why. For example: My favorite lens, my favorite little tiny tripod, my favorite camera bag.
Featured Photographer. Each issue we give one special photographer a few pages to really strut their stuff. Know a good candidate? Tell us who they are and why you think they'd be good.
And More! We are always looking for new ideas, engaging articles, commentary, and community projects. The best articles have something to do with the themes for the issue, and for Issue 7 that means Big, Hometown, or Self-portraiture.
