My Favourite Family-Friendly Hotels in Malaysia
A former night auditor's warm round-up of family-friendly stays across Malaysia - beach resorts, aparthotels and quiet lakeside lodges.
I spent years on the far side of a hotel front desk, closing out the night audit while the day's chaos finally went quiet - and the guests who found me at 2am always wanted the same thing: someone still awake who could tell them what was actually running. Malaysia's family hotels have their own version of that hour, just earlier and busier: a boat crew hosing down kayaks, a kitchen resetting for a second breakfast seating, a kids' club minder switching off the lights. I like these places more for who's still moving through them than for any brochure line, and Golden Palm Tree Sepang is the one I keep coming back to.
