The female nude in photography can be a very controversial subject matter, because art is never perceived the same by all audiences and comfort levels may vary.    A nude captured for the sake of art and beauty is neither pornographic, offensive, nor derogatory.  Nude photography is an appreciation of the human form, curves and all.  Color nudes are vivid and can really be beautiful but, if you want more intensity, shoot your nude in black and white.  Black and White Photography almost always creates an instant fine art feel to any image, especially if you have the technique down pat.  The contours of the body are elegant, expressing vulnerability and sensuality all which is achieved by gradient shades of grays, deep shadows and contrasting highlights.
