This is an image that I captured from a chopper just east of Port Campbell on The Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. This part of our coastline is generally known as the "Shipwreck Coast" and you can probably imagine why from looking at this shot.

When the ocean starts getting wild here and a big swell pushes through you really don't want to be at sea here if you are not 100% confident in your sailing skills.

"The Twelve Apostles" and "London Bridge" are both well know attractions on this coast.....part of London Bridge collapsed into the sea in about 1990 leaving a number of it's guests stranded out on the (now brand new) island. They had to be rescued / retreived via one was actually walking accross the section that collapsed at the time.

Image captured on a Canon 350D.
