If this doesn't exemplify the 1950's love of chrome and tail fins, I don't know what does. It's big, long, shiny and red. One of the largest cars ever produced by a US manufacturer, these kings of the road weighed in at nearly 3 tons. They definitely made a statement. This example has been wonderfully restored and is driven by the owner. The chrome and paint are impeccable and it truly is a masterpiece of late '50's excess (or prosperity, depending on your POV). It now is a classic and is a way of preserving a part of a time long since past.

This looks to have been shot on film, which(if it was)certainly adds to that 50's look.A classic image of a classic car!!!
