yes it is. books on top of books are stapled to the wall! there are also books stacked and stapled to the side.

This has to be one of the most horrifying things I have ever seen done to books. What an absolute waste of knowledge. I don't understand how you can claim to find a home in books, and yet be willing to destroy them so. You want them displayed in the room? Buy book cases, or build them into the walls. That way they are still usable by yourself and others in your family.

As for all the crazy people putting this image down - Get a life.
a) There are bigger issues in the world to complain about than a handful of books.
b) These books could have been discarded and bought at a thrift store or thrown out by the library [books, like everything else do become obsolete - if you don’t think so then you must still believe the world is flat].
c) They are stapled to the wall and can be removed with very little damage.
Get over yourselves. You’re just jealous. People are free to spend their money and use their property the way they see fit. -
