I took this on my daily walk to school a few months ago. I added a very slight sepia tone to give it more of a dated look.

I submitted this photo to this theme, because Henri Cartier-Bresson was a master of showing the beauty of everyday living through black and white photography. One of my favorite quotes of his is:
“It is through living that we discover ourselves, at the same time as we discover the world around us.” -Henri Cartier-Bresson

I also believe it is important to pay attention to what is happening in the world around us. By doing so, we may discover something new about it, and also about ourselves. We may even capture a piece of those moments to share with future generations...

    i love the nice! captured the gnarls of the leafless tress so well too! its a great show of opposites..the perfection and straightness of the footpath and the lined trees and then the wildness of the leafless branches...can't get enough of it...
