Nishinomiya Japan, Dec 2004, While strolling about on a rare day off from training, I took this shot of a cat hanging out on a ceramic roof, silently watching the Americans walk by.

Upon further investigation, Nishinomiya is located near the coast but quite a ways away from the epicenter of the quake and tsunami, but still is in danger as is the rest of Japan from the radiation from the leaking reactors. Nuclear energy seems to be a good idea but the waste generated by these reactors has a long life and needs to be stored for decades.

Nothing more to say...but please say a prayer for all those who have been lost and affected by this tragedy of unimaginable scope.
