Do you remember why you became a photographer? Today I remembered. I was humbled to capture a truly inspiring day.
My friend Barry, of the Bright Side of the Road foundation, is a person who has ALS. He never lets that define him or limit him in any way. He is a lemonade out of lemons kinda guy.
Barry decided to participate in the Cleveland Marathon. He had a 4 member team push him the entire 26.2 miles, smiling all the way, grinning from ear to ear, getting big smiles from the crowd in return. Team Brightside also raised over $20,000 dollars as well for funding to find a cure.
I was so happy to capture his day, and it truly inspired me, and brought back my love of photography. This is why we snap... to capture the perfect moments in time...
Thank you, Barry, for giving me so much more than I can ever give you! Love.....
