    I usually don't come back to comment on my own photos, but thought I'd answer your question, Nancy. It takes an average of 3-4 hours from start to finish.

    ha, this is pretty close to the truth. we have carpenter bees that are drilling perfect holes in all of our 2 x 2 patio cover slats. super shot, Susan!

    Digger is a military slang term for Australian and New Zealand troops, from First World War. That was my immediate thought when I saw the Title! It came from the troops digging trenches during the battles. New Zealanders would call each other Digger, but other nationalities would call them Kiwis. So this is perfect as your amazing talented bees dig deeper into the mine. You are so clever!

    Love the bees, but was drawn to the background. I thought "this is either a huge baleen whale or a creature from Stars Wars." Surely I am not the only one that sees this face! My second thought was, "Hey, this title reminds me of Digger Barnes." You remember Digger Barnes. He was Cliff Barnes' dad in the first season of "Dallas." LOL
